（二）语法
可数名词的单复数的变化规则
可数名词单数变复数的变化规则如下
规则变化：
1. 一般名词的复数形式是在名词的词尾加-s 构成.? For example：
apple — apples?? boy — boys?? student — students?? star — stars
2. 以s, sh, ch, x结尾的名词要加 — es.?? For example:
bus — buses???? box — boxes?? glass — glasses
3. 个别以o结尾的名词变成复数时，词尾要加 —es.? For example:
tomato — tomatoes???? potato — potatoes??? hero — heroes?
4. 辅音加y 结尾的名词,要把y 变成i 再加es.
baby — babies??? city? —? cities?????
5. 以 f 或fe 结尾的名词，要将其变成v 再加 —es? For example:
knife — knives? wife — wives?? wolf — wolves??? life — lives

不规则变化：
1. 有些名词的复数形式是不规则的，但也有小规律：For example:
名词中以 man 结尾的，将a 变为e.
man — men??????????????? ? woman — women??
Frenchman — Frenchmen??? ?? policeman — policemen
名词中含有 oo 的要将oo 变为ee. For example:
tooth — teeth???? foot — feet????
2. 有些单词根本就没有规律。 For example:
sheep — sheep???? fish — fish?? child — children?? mouse — mice
